Marcello Passaro is a PV module and battery energy storage (BESS) expert with over a decade of experience across the solar energy value chain. His career has spanned module reliability testing, technical asset management, O&M operations, and procurement for both commercial and utility-scale solar projects. He has worked with top-tier PV manufacturers, EPCs, and certification bodies across Europe and Asia.
Marcello is the Founder of Sunzest Solar, where he advises on PV module manufacturing, BESS due diligence, and energy policy. His insights bridge the gap between technology, field performance, and financial impact, helping stakeholders make informed, data-driven decisions.
He has served as a technical specialist and asset manager across a range of companies, including Eneco, Kiwa, Zonnekpark Services Netherlands, and Solora, and has played a key role in managing over 250 MWp of projects.
