    Stanislas Merlet is a senior solar PV consultant and business developer with over 15 years of global experience in the solar energy industry. As a founding member of Multiconsult’s solar energy advisory team in Norway, he specializes in utility-scale solar PV projects, including ground-mounted and hydropower-connected floating installations in emerging markets across Eastern/Southern Africa and Central/Southeast Asia. 

    With expertise in project development, design, yield assessment, and construction supervision, Stanislas brings a deep understanding of solar energy systems. Fluent in French, English, Spanish, and Norwegian, he leverages his international background to navigate complex, multicultural project landscapes effectively. 

    Stanislas is pursuing an Industrial Ph.D. focused on optimizing hydropower-connected floating solar PV plants in collaboration with Multiconsult and NTNU. A two-time award recipient, he was named “Norway’s Young Consultant of the Year” in 2017 and “Europe’s Young Professional of the Year” in 2018. An active member of Engineers Without Borders Norway, he leads the Technical Group for Renewables, further solidifying his commitment to advancing renewable energy solutions worldwide.
