John O’Toole, a Chartered Engineer with 20 years of experience in the energy industry, specializes in operations and asset management. His impressive career spans managing a 15 MWe CHP plant at Guinness Brewery, overseeing operations and safety for a 400 MW CCGT power station, and leading control for 1 GW of UK wind assets. As Technical Director for the UK’s largest battery fleet (425 MW across 16 sites), he has played a pivotal role in the commissioning of 600 MW of solar projects and is currently driving three 400 MW+ battery projects in the UK. John now serves as Technical Director (UK Asset Management) at Amp Energy, bringing unmatched expertise to renewable energy and battery storage.
